Guest on the River ahoy! My significant other (SO) shares his experience and thoughts on one of his first Asian skincare products, the TonyMoly Regencia Homme Multi Fluid. I’ve contributed some basic information including ingredients and prices.
He chose the name “jlow,” for some reason. Here goes nothin’!

Although jlow isn’t really concerned about anti-aging right now, he does need help with a little dryness on his typically normal skin type. Read on to hear about his experience!
The Experience
jlow: I bought this product while visiting the TonyMoly store with Lily, out of concern for my precious face. Once the object of awe and much touching by friends, acquaintances, and once-or-twice, a stranger, it had begun to lose its perfect streak. On some days, my baby-soft cheeks would become dry, and on others, a pimple or three would pop up on my forehead or nose after eating some oily foods. It was hard to admit that my face finally needed maintenance, after so many years of only washing my face with a damp washcloth.
On this day, I was looking for something that would moisturize and rid of irritation after shaving. The sales attendant directed me to the multi fluid, saying that many of her friends used and liked it. I figured that I should get on with taking care of my face properly, so into the rabbit hole I dipped my toe.
The Multi Fluid is light in application; it does not make my face feel oily and dries nicely. Its odor is quite pleasant, which is about as much description as I can give, what with my awful sense of smell. I use it after every shave, every face wash with Hada Labo Gokujyun, and whenever I’m feeling dry. It makes me feel…fresh.
Value:
Lily: Like jlow said, we got this at the Ke‘eaumoku TonyMoly store in Honolulu for under $30 late last year. The service there is unbeatable, but the Regencia Homme line is now available online for cheaper. The Multi Fluid is on Koreadepart (about $16), Roseroseshop (about $12), Memebox ($17), and Jolse (about $20), among other shops. It’s also available on Ebay, and Amazon for ridiculous prices at the moment.
P.S. As an aside, I want to express my annoyance with the fact that, like many “for men” products, this has a musk/fragrance that it really doesn’t need. Just because a product is marketed toward men, it doesn’t have to be specially formulated and smell like a DUDE MANLY MAN. Seriously, skin is skin! Across all genders! Alright, getting off the soapbox.
The Verdict
jlow: Does the job, which is all I ask for.
Overall Rating: 4.5 / 5
